Data Logging Capability Added to Flagship Controller

Oldham (France) is committed to developing innovative products and product features to meet ever-evolving customer needs in fixed gas detection. Now, a USB option is available on all MX 43 controllers with Rev. C Micro Card or greater including; 4 and 8 channel models, and rack and wall mounted models.

The USB option provides the following benefits: continuous data logging on the USB key at a user defined sampling rate from 2 seconds to 15 minutes; recording in real-time of all events (alarms, faults, alarm resets, calibration, etc.); automatic backup of the MX 43 configuration; automatic backup of the MX 43 firmware; loading a configuration or firmware file from the USB stick for easy system update or restore.

The 4 GB USB drive provides a recording capacity of more than 2 years for certain configurations. A data file and an event file are created daily on the USB key allowing the user to easily isolate a particular point. The data are saved in CSV format for smooth processing with Excel.
