Moves at Murco

Murco (Ireland), a Bacharach Company, are pleased to announce the appointment of Ian Dunlop as General Manager. Ian takes over the reins from Lorcan Maher founder and Managing Director of Murco who continues with the company on a consultancy basis. Ian joined Murco in 2001 as Technical Manager and has been instrumental in growing and developing the business significantly over the last ten years. ‘It is an exciting time here at Murco with the recent partnership with Bacharach. Our combined efforts will significantly strengthen the Company’s ability to provide the best solutions to the worldwide market of both fixed and portable gas detection instruments,” said Ian.

Don Hoban, Technical Sales Manager at Murco will now head up Murco’s Sales Division Team and will be responsible for developing Murco’s fixed gas detection business to multinational customers and promote the firm’s wider product offerings with the expanded resources that Murco and Bacharach can now offer. Don has been with Murco since April 2010 and has a wealth of experience in the Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Industry, working previously as a Technical Engineer at Dean & Wood, Anglo Irish Refrigeration and Fridge Spares.
