New Portable CH4, CO2 and CO Analysers

The IR4030 series is a new range of portable gas analysers for methane, carbon dioxide or carbon monoxide from Hitech Instruments (UK). The analysers are based on the already successful infrared sensors used in the wall mount IR600 range and incorporate all the features you would expect from a field instrument in a rugged case.

These are portable analysers designed for continuous measurement in a process environment - unlike the small, handheld instruments on the market. Thus the IR4030 is ideal as back-up to fixed instruments or for multi-site use. The rechargeable battery has been designed to last a full 8 hour shift.

In common with all Hitech analysers the IR4030 is supplied complete and ready to use – tube fittings, valves, filter, flowmeter, sensor, pump – everything you need in the basic price. The integral pump is particularly useful ensuring that correct flow can be achieved even in static atmospheres. A 0-1V programmable output is standard together with two indication alarms.

The analysers are available in a choice of % ranges for a variety of uses. Typical applications include biogas, composting, welding and gas mixing. However the technical support engineers at Hitech are always ready to offer advice and solutions for new applications.
