SY1 from GEIT (Italy) is a standalone device, intelligent and non-intrusive detection for flammable gases, toxic, CO2 and oxygen. Certified to ATEX II 2G - Ex d IIC T6, (Ta - 50°C + 80°C) II 2D Ex tb IIIC T85°C IP5X (Ta - 50°C + 80°C).
The SY1 is made to be of a very sturdy construction from aluminium dye casting, epoxy painted and the wide range of sensors and detection technologies makes it particularly suited to the demanding conditions encountered in the chemical and petrochemical industry on & off shore.
The SY1 has offset the effects of temperature and total supervision of the sensors used and their average life.
