Eblana Photonics (Ireland) new Gas Sensing Device can be used over a wide wavelength range (760 – 2150nm) for various gas sensing applications. The Eblana “Discreet-Mode” (DM) technology based on DFB laser diodes allows excellent SMSR and narrow line width of < 2MHz. It has an excellent tuning characteristic with mode-hop free tuning < 2nm. That makes the device the ideal choice for sensing the most common gases. As standard it will be delivered in a 14-pin butterfly package with TEC. Optionally it is also available in a DX1 module with SM or PM fiber.
