Clean water is one of life’s essentials, and your lab plays a key role in ensuring that our drinking water supply is clean, safe - and compliant with rigorous international standards. And the NexION® 2000 ICP-MS can help. That’s because this exceptional ICP-MS system is the perfect instrument to analyse groundwater, surface water, wastewater, or drinking water with specificity, selectivity, and accuracy.

The NexION 2000 ICP-MS can handle any matrix, allowing you to run samples with high total dissolved solids without manual dilution, and to measure high- and low-level elements at the same time. It handles any interference, too, so you can choose just the right mode or gas channels for your application. And it lets you measure any size particle - down to less than 10 nm.

Matrix tolerance lets you run the way you want - The system’s All Matrix Solution feature lets you run samples with high total dissolved solids without manual dilution. Through “intelligent” dilution, you get the flexibility to dilute diverse elements to different levels in the same run, enabling you to measure the full spectrum of elements while preserving the lifetime of the detector. Matrix tolerance is further enhanced by an innovative, solid-state, free-running RF generator that delivers exceptional plasma power and stability through the revolutionary LumiCoil™ technology, which is guaranteed for life and requires no water or gas cooling.

Any interference, lower detection limits - The system’s Universal Cell Technology™ enables you to select your perfect method of interference removal for better accuracy and lower detection limits, and it delivers three distinct modes of operation - Standard, Collision, and Reaction. Plus, three gas channels provide all the analytical flexibility you need, with shorter run times.

Any particle size at all - The NexION 2000 system’s modern electronics combine with the Syngistix Nano Application Software Module to deliver the fastest data acquisition rates of any ICP-MS - at least 10 times faster than competitive systems - resulting in superior analysis times and unmatched Single Particle ICP-MS capabilities.

Nothing could be simpler - All this speed, sensitivity, and flexibility are easy to learn, use, and maintain, too:

  • Its Quadrupole Ion Deflector entirely removes unionized material, making this system the only ICP-MS on the market with a cell that never needs to be cleaned or replaced.
  • The Extended Dynamic Range enables you to attenuate the signal of specific masses selectively, so you can measure elements with low and high concentrations in the same sample, at the same time, boosting your lab’s productivity.
  • Our Syngistix software provides an intuitive interface that mirrors your workflow, with left-to-right, icon-based navigation that guides you through your analysis - and it’s a cross-platform solution, easing the transition from technique to technique.
  • What's more, it features preloaded environmental testing methods, eliminating the need for method development in many applications.

The NexION 2000 ICP-MS: Effortless versatility and peace of mind.
