Signal partners with gas analysis experts in Korea

Signal Group has announced the further expansion of its network of international distributors with the appointment of Y&J Eng in South Korea. “Asia is fast becoming one of our major markets, so it is important that we have a local partner in the Korean market,” explains Signal MD James Clements. “We recently welcomed two members of Y&J Eng staff to our factory in Camberley for training, and were impressed by their levels of expertise and experience in emissions sampling, monitoring and analysis.

“Factory training is important for our distributors because it instils high levels of confidence when serving customers when they return home, and provides us with an ideal opportunity to learn more about their local markets.

“The appointment of Y&J Eng as our distributor is great news for customers in Korea because they will be able to rely on local support from factory trained experts with over 12 years’ experience in environmental monitoring instrumentation.”

The partnership between Y&J Eng and Signal began with a successful evaluation of the Signal 3010 MiniFID, and prompted the requirement for factory training in the UK. Initially, the Y&J Eng staff were mainly interested in portable VOC measurement instruments, but following the training, they are now able to offer and support the full range of Signal gas sampling, handling and analysis instruments.
