PerkinElmer’s comprehensive environmental testing solutions -- comprised of analytical instruments, consumables, software and services -- are critical to ensuring environmental sustainability and human well-being. This means helping scientists detect regulated and emerging contaminants such as per and polyfluoroalkyl substances, persistent organic pollutants and heavy metals in water, air, soil and solid matrices. Visitors to the virtual AQE/WWEM event will be able to find out why so many environmental labs the world over have turned to Perkin Elmer to provide their analytical instrumentation technology to fulfil a wide array of applications.

To this mission, PerkinElmer equips labs with atomic spectroscopy, chromatography, mass spectrometry and molecular spectroscopy-based technologies. For example, Perkin Elmer’s ICP-MS, ICP and AA technology tests billions of gallons of drinking water annually including innovative water re-use approaches, Perkin Elmer established ozone precursor methods with regulatory agencies leveraging their GC and GC/MS portfolio and they have been at the forefront of microplastics detection with their FT-IR solutions in studying the impact on our oceans, waterways and shorelines.
