Jun 17 2025
bNovate Technologies SA has entered a distribution partnership with ProDetec, a leading provider of water analysis and monitoring solutions in Australia and New Zealand. This agreement represents a major milestone in bNovate’s ongoing expansion into the Oceania region.
“Collaborating with ProDetec represents an exciting opportunity for bNovate Technologies as we expand our footprint in Australia and New Zealand,” commented Julian Lowe, bNovate Technologies’ Head of Global Sales. “ProDetec’s expertise and commitment to delivering innovative field devices and control equipment make them the ideal partner for introducing our advanced water quality monitoring technologies to this market. Together, we are advancing water safety and ensuring communities receive timely and reliable insights into water quality.”
Australia and New Zealand are facing significant industrial water challenges that affect the quality and safety of their water supplies. Factors such as climate change, agricultural runoff, and urbanisation are intensifying these problems, resulting in greater contamination and unreliable access to clean water. Frequent extreme weather events, including droughts and floods, further complicate effective water management in both countries.
ProDetec’s Operations Manager, Anthony Barakat, added,” This collaboration highlights our commitment to providing the highest-quality solutions to our clients. bNovate’s real-time microbial monitoring systems will empower industries and municipalities to address water quality challenges more effectively, ensuring safer water for communities and industries alike.”
Advanced monitoring solutions play a crucial role in detecting contaminants in real-time, ensuring adherence to health regulations, and safeguarding public health. As industries strive to meet increasing demand while maintaining water quality, the adoption of innovative monitoring technologies will be crucial in addressing these persistent challenges and ensuring water resources for future generations.
Serge Gander, CEO of bNovate, stated: “This partnership further expands our presence in Asia-Pacific and Oceania where water utilities and industries will benefit from our water monitoring Bactosense solution. Climate change is happening now, and we have the tools to be proactive rather than reactive. The best approach to a better future is to stay at the forefront of any challenge, and by facing it together, we can make a bigger impact.”
bNovate’s BactoSense product lines tackles a wide variety of water treatment and monitoring needs. These reliable, real-time microbial monitoring solutions support effective chlorination and UV treatment, helping municipalities and industries to maintain water safety. BactoSense also offers a robust, remote solution that strengthens water systems and protects public health, aligning with regional efforts to enhance water infrastructure.
