3 New Appointments for a1-cbiss Technical Support Strategy

Gas detection experts’ a1-cbiss (UK) have appointed three technical specialists to bolster the gas detection team. James Grierson joins the sales team having spent two years working as a project manager within the a1-cbiss engineering team. James brings with him over 18 years of gas detection sales and project managing experience mostly gained in Africa. James’s role will be to support clients in North West England and Scotland. Craig Thompson arrived at a1-cbiss six months ago having spent the last five years working for a gas detection manufacturer. Craig has settled into the role and is responsible for the territory in Central and North East England. The third appointment to the gas detection team is Josh Rosen for the position of Technical Sales Support and Business Development. Josh’s role is to provide technical support to the internal sales team and liaise with clients supporting them with advanced technical queries.

The strategic move fully supports growth plans within the UK and European gas detection markets to offer technical support, design, integration and service. a1-cbiss aim to deliver a first class service to their client base by providing technical support enabling clients to purchase the most suitable products for their needs from their product range comprising Gastec detector tubes, portable gas detectors and fixed gas detection systems.

Neil Gwinnutt, Head of Gas Detection adds “This is an exciting period of time for a1-cbiss as we are now recognised for our knowledge and understanding of gas detection solutions. We have accepted the opportunity to widen our product range and have since become an authorised service centre for Scott Safety, RAE Systems and BW (Honeywell) in addition to the agreements already in place with Oldham, Industrial Scientific and App-Tek (Thermofisher Technologies).
