Sira Launches MCERTS Training for 2010

Sira Environmental, the MCERTS Certification provider, has launched a range of MCERTS training courses for 2010. Aimed at process operators, site owners and product manufacturers, the range of courses covers the various regulatory requirements for environmental monitoring, including:

•MCERTS Awareness – Monitoring Emissions to Air, Land and Water

•Introduction to Emissions Monitoring for MCERTS

•Operator Monitoring Assessment (OMA) for air and water industries

•Self-Monitoring of Effluent flow – implementing the MCERTS scheme

All courses are delivered by practicing experts and engineers and are conducted at Sira training locations or at your own site.

Sira also delivers the MCERTS Personnel Competence Scheme, the scheme that enables stack-emission monitoring personnel to be certified as competent in their emission-monitoring tasks.

Sira also offers approved training for candidates undergoing assessment for the MCERTS Personnel Competence Scheme. Courses cover the health and safety section of Environment Agency Technical Guidance Note M1, and is IOSH endorsed.
