Web-Shop Opens for Business

Air quality monitoring specialist Enviro Technology (UK) has launched an online shopping portal for common consumable items and small, handheld ‘out of the box’ monitoring equipment.

The aim is to make it quicker and easier for environmental professionals, facilities managers and health & safety managers to purchase items which don’t require installation support from the firm’s engineers.

Products which will be available online for the first time include the Kitagawa Gas Detection Tube System which offers reliable on-the-spot testing for a wide range of hazardous gases and vapours. Further products include handheld indoor air quality monitors and particulate monitors/counters, gas cylinder regulators and analyser filters.

Prices range from £9 for a disposable filter unit to £3,339 for a GreyWolf AdvancedSense Environmental Test Meter. The firm plans to add further portable and handheld equipment, as well as more consumables and spare parts, to the web-shop in the future.

Enviro Technology’s Sales and Marketing Director Duncan Mounsor believes the web-shop will make life easier for customers.

“We know that our customers are often juggling a heavy workload, and making a phone call to order replacement tubes or filters is often put off until the need is urgent,” Mounsor explains. “Providing an online ordering service means our shop is available 24/7 and that our customers can place orders with us wherever they are and at any time that suits them.

“We are particularly pleased that we have been able to list the entire range of Kitagawa gas detection tubes online, customers will now be able to select and compare tubes at their leisure and then place their order with just a few clicks of the mouse.”
