Vaisala have just launched their seventh generation of visibility and present weather sensors. Vaisala Forward Scatter FD70 Series utilises innovative technology setting a new standard in precipitation identification, quantification and visibility determination accuracy.
Vaisala Forward Scatter FD70 Series consists of two product models: FD71 visibility sensor and FD71P present weather sensor. FD70 Series can function stand-alone, interoperate as an integral part of Vaisala systems, and additionally work with different third-party systems. The main customers for the new products are meteorological institutes and airports. Deliveries are estimated to start in Q2/2019.
