Flame Proof Auto Sampling Type Gas Detector Introduced

GASTRON (South Korea), a specialist global manufacturer of gas detection systems, introduces GTD-5000F.

The GTD-5000F Gas detector has been developed to detect a variety of gases, thereby preventing serious accidents caused by unexpected gas leaks in hazardous areas such as industrial plants, gas storage facilities and factories in the process of producing or consuming combustible gases, Hydrocarbon gases, VOC gases and toxic gases.

The flame proof and cartridge sensor type GTD-5000F Gas detector continuously monitors the air to detect dangerous gas leaks, and displays the measured value of gas concentration via FND installed inside of the gas detector. GTD-5000F also provides DC 4-20mA standard output and RS-485 communication signal externally. In addition, a relay contact signal is generated in the occurrence of an alarm indicating a gas leak.

For standard output of DC 4-20mA, the output receiver can receive the signal up to 2,500 meters away from the gas detector (only if CVVS or CVVSB 1.5sq↑ Shield Cable is used). The RS-485 communication signal can be delivered up to 450 meters away (only if RS-485 dedicated line is used).
