Safety & Health Expo, Europe’s largest annual health and safety event, returns on 11–13 May 2010 to the NEC Birmingham. The event, which will be hosted in partnership with the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA), the British Safety Industry Federation (BSIF) and the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH), was a huge success in 2009 attracting more than 19,000* industry professionals to the show.
Register for your free place at www.safety-health-expo.co.uk/register and take advantage of everything on offer. Including:
More than 300 industry renowned companies will showcase their latest developments at the extensive exhibition, including 3M, Arco, BM Polyco, British Red Cross, Connaught Compliance Training Services, Draeger, Moldex, Safety Media, Scott Health & Safety and Traka.
Education will once again take centre stage at Safety & Health Expo 2010 with four dedicated seminar theatres throughout the show.
Legislation and regulation are the main drivers of health and safety in the UK, and keeping abreast of developments in this area is a key part of the practitioner’s role. Across our three day SHP Legal Arena programme, receive advice on some of the key legal developments of the last year, as well as analysis of some of the biggest cases and decisions in health and safety and related law from leading barristers and solicitors.
Avatars, robots, CCTV for monitoring staff and intelligent PPE are just some of the cutting-edge issues being discussed at this year’s Product and Innovation Hub, sponsored by Arco. Key organisations will deliver vibrant, forward-thinking presentations side-by-side with the industry’s innovators. You will also be able to explore and interact with cutting-edge products and technologies displayed within the Hub.
New for this year is the AIF Knowledge Base, hosted by the Access Industry Forum (AIF). Featuring Panel discussions, debates and demonstrations, the purpose built area will address the hot topics in access and working at height. Fresh insights and perspectives will be provided by guest contributors APS, BSIF, CIOB, CPA, HSE, IOSH and UKCG.
IOSH will also be presenting updates on recent developments in the IOSH stand theatre. The informative sessions will provide information and updates on CPD, training courses and technical guidance. With more theatre sessions than in previous years, this is a must-attend show feature.
Join IOSH on their stand and visit the theatre to find out about:
• IOSH membership
• IOSH training courses and products
• IOSH technical tools and development fund opportunities
