Dresser Roots (USA) has developed the ROOTS® IGCH integrally geared dual vane compressor which is capable of handling flows from 8,000 to 100,000 m3/hr and can be used with a variety of constant speed or variable speed drivers.

The compressor’s Variable Inlet Guide Vanes (IGVs) are designed to control the capacity with a minimum loss of efficiency while also increasing the stable operating range. The system’s Variable Diffuser Vanes (VDVs) can be used to manage applications where constant inlet temperature exists and constant discharge pressure is desired. Tailoring the control of the IGVs and VDVs ensures the optimisation of the performance point as process conditions vary.

The IGCH, can operate up to 2 bar working pressure and can also be equipped with alternate impeller materials for special applications. Optimised aerodynamic impeller design maximises energy efficiency and provides reliable operation.

For lower inlet air flow the EasyAir® X2 Factory Blower Package System provides aeration air up to 9,000m3/hr and working pressure up to 1 bar.
