New high-flow air sampling pump

Casella’s Vortex3 is a highly innovative high flow pump designed to simplify asbestos and air sampling, which provides a flow accuracy that is better than +/-5%.

Thanks to Casella’s patent-pending, interlocking design, the Vortex3 is very portable with its comfortable handle and weighing-in at just 2.17kg, enabling operators to carry several units in one hand. This is a unique and new feature for the market, which allows asbestos clearance professionals to save time and effort when taking pumps on site.

This device is IP65 rated, so it is protected from dust and water ingress. The Vortex 3’s ergonomic design of this high flow pump’s smooth body finish has no small crevices that could potentially trap fine airborne asbestos fibres, which means easier, quicker, and safer decontamination and cleaning. 

This sampling pump’s two-and-a-half-hour runtime at 12L per minute, with a typical filter, ensures continuous performance. The enhanced Vortex3 Pro model is compatible with Casella’s Airwave App and Bluetooth connectivity. This allows operators to remotely control and check the progress of a measurement run, monitor battery life and memory capacity direct from a mobile device as well as enabling data from the pump to be emailed for additional traceability.
