The Waterloo Multilevel Groundwater Monitoring System, from Solinst (Canada), is used to obtain samples, hydraulic head and permeability measurements from many discretely isolated zones in a single borehole. The modular system allows users to place sampling pumps and pressure transducers exactly where needed. The engineered seals and dedicated monitoring capabilities have been used to 1000 ft. (300 m). Systems can be installed in 3-4" boreholes, or larger. Options are available to suit bedrock and overburden applications.
