The 425-D Deep Sampling Discrete Interval Sampler from Solinst is a remarkable instrument designed to obtain representative groundwater samples from specific zones, all without the need for the purging process. The device has been crafted from high-quality stainless steel, this sampler is connected to LDPE tubing, neatly wound on a convenient reel. Its operation is based on the fundamental principles of hydraulics, simplifying the process for users while ensuring reliable and precise results.

The sealed sampler is pressurised at the desired depth, allowing water to enter. The 425-D is vented and sealed before retrieval to surface, maintaining sample integrity. This versatile sampler is ideal for obtaining water samples from below floating product layers (LNAPL) or sampling the actual product. For shallower applications, Solinst offers the standard Model 425 Discrete Interval Samplers, which provide the same precision and ease of use as the 425-D.
