CHEMetrics, Inc. (USA) is proud to announce the release of its new MDL+ Fluoride Test Kit which measures fluoride in drinking water between 0 and 3.00 parts per million. The World Health Organization has estimated as many as 171 million people in the United States benefit from fluoridation of their drinking water. As a drinking water additive, fluoride is a crucial part of the overall health strategy when consumed in recommended doses. Over-consumption, however, may lead to fluorosis or discoloration of tooth enamel.

The MDL+ Fluoride Test Kit uses a double point, self-filling ampoule, to equip water treatment professionals with a pre-mixed, pre-measured and precise method for detecting trace levels of fluoride. This test employs an arsenic-free SPADNS methodology to minimise interference and increase accuracy in fluoride detection.  An added benefit of using the MDL+ ampoules, they are compatible with most spectrophotometers and enable water treatment professionals to use their existing equipment.
