CEMS platform supports continuous monitoring across stack and process gas applications

28 Apr, 2026

PRIMA Equipment has introduced the PSGM-1-D-AGS Continuous Emissions Monitoring System, a flexible CEMS platform designed for continuous stack gas, flue gas and process vent monitoring across demanding industrial environments.

The PSGM-1-D-AGS is capable of monitoring a broad range of parameters, including SO₂, NO₂, O₂, dust, humidity, temperature, pressure and flow. It is suitable for continuous monitoring applications involving boilers, industrial furnaces, incinerators and other emission sources. The system can also be configured for process vent gas monitoring, including HCl, HF, CO₂, CO, NH₃, H₂S, Cl₂ and VOCs.

Developed with Indian industrial conditions in mind, the PSGM-1-D-AGS has been designed to support reliable operation in environments where dust, temperature and humidity can create major challenges for continuous emissions monitoring. The system incorporates two stages of condensation to remove water and rapidly cool the sample, as well as multiple stages of water and dust removal to protect analytical performance.

PRIMA states that the PSGM-1-D-AGS is India’s only system performance tested as per the DIN EN 15267-3 QAL-1 standard by an ISO/IEC 17025:2017 accredited testing and calibration laboratory accredited by IAS, U.S.A.

The system is built around PRIMA’s in-house research and development capabilities, including flue gas analysers, temperature, pressure and flow measurement, humidity measurement, HCl and HF analysis, sample pre-treatment systems and monitoring software. According to the company, this integrated approach enables the system to be adapted to a wide range of regulatory, industrial and site-specific monitoring requirements.

A wide range of measurement technologies can be supported within the PSGM-1-D-AGS platform, including NDUV, NDIR, UVDOAS, IR DOAS, FTIR, PID, FID, electrochemical, TDLAS and zirconia dioxide technologies. This allows operators to configure the system for different target gases, concentration ranges and measurement requirements, from standard combustion gas monitoring to more specialised process gas applications.

For plant operators, environmental managers and compliance teams, the PSGM-1-D-AGS offers practical features intended to simplify continuous monitoring and maintenance. These include manual, automatic and remote calibration facilities, analogue 4–20 mA output, RS485 Modbus RTU and TCP/IP connectivity, a 10-inch or 7-inch TFT multi-colour touch LCD display and a T90 response time of ≤15 seconds. The system also offers stated accuracy, repeatability and drift values of ≤1%, depending on configuration and application.

To support installation across different industrial settings, the PSGM-1-D-AGS is available in multiple enclosure formats, including a standard IP55 enclosure, FRP enclosure, Mini PSGM enclosure and purge panel options. Variants include enclosures suitable for water and dust protection, outdoor use, high-temperature environments and flameproof Zone-1 and Zone-2 applications, including IS/IEC 60079-2:2014 Ex-p Z-Type purge control panel options.

The PSGM-1-D-AGS is available for customised configurations depending on the monitoring application, gas parameters, installation environment and compliance requirements.
