Terms have been agreed for the acquisition of Valeport by Teledyne Marine. Valeport has built a solid reputation as one of the world’s leading developers of underwater sensors and profilers and the acquisition will significantly expand the underwater product range and solutions offered by Teledyne Marine.
UK-based Valeport was founded in 1969 and is a highly reputable family-owned company specialising in the manufacture of oceanographic and hydrographic instrumentation., Their highly sophisticated instrumentation for the oceanographic and hydrographic sectors is widely used across the globe for subsea, oceanographic, hydrographic, metrological and positioning applications in ports, harbours, and dredging operations as well as in the energy and scientific research sectors.
