Servomex achieves gold rating for business sustainability

For the second consecutive year, Servomex has achieved EcoVadis Gold Rating for sustainable business practices. Servomex are now established in the top 5% of all manufacturing companies rated by EcoVadis across in 2023.

EcoVadis ratings are widely accepted as the primary assessment platform for supplier sustainability, providing a clear overview of a supplier’s Corporate Social Responsibility, while facilitating improvement in performance.

Servomex was awarded with its first gold rating in 2022, with EcoVadis acknowledging aspects such as their established environmental emergency measures as well as its treatment and safe disposal of hazardous substances.

Having confirmed Servomex’s 223 rating, EcoVadis were impressed with how Servomex maintained its environmental standards while making further progress towards its Sustainable Development Goals.

Mike Proctor, Director of Sustainability and Strategic NPI at Servomex commented, “We are delighted to have improved our overall score by 3%, but with a 20% improvement in the Sustainable Procurement Category. It is also noted the EcoVadis scores are competitive rankings, therefore our improved scores show our relative improvement against strong baseline improvements across all industries.”

The externally assessed accreditation measures environmental, social, and ethical performance, providing customers with confidence that Servomex will support and enable their own sustainability efforts.
