GAZOMAT Joins the American ECOTEC International Holdings, LLC (ECOTEC)

On June the 9th, 2016, ECOTEC acquired the T.D. Williamson French subsidiary, GAZOMAT.

Based in Strasbourg, France; GAZOMAT designs and manufactures high-performance portable gas leak detection instruments, leak detection services and first-responder environmental safety equipment.

The ECOTEC companies have focused in gas analysis for a number of industries designing, manufacturing, selling and servicing customers in over 60 countries for more than 25 years.

The merger will strengthen both organisations by combining the customer knowledge and technical expertise of two businesses that serve complementary markets and utilize similar core technologies.

Alan VIDAL, GAZOMAT’s newly appointed Managing Director, with 18 years experience within the ECOTEC group, believes “this is a unique opportunity to provide an extended gas analysis portfolio and deliver superior customer service to better serve the energy industry.
