Dan McQueen, President, Fluid Components International (FCI), a global leader in thermal flow and level instrumentation, has announced the appointment of Adam Schleyhahn as the company’s new Director of Sales.

McQueen welcomed Schleyhahn to his new position saying, “Adam’s talents and experience are the perfect fit for FCI as we continue to grow to meet the expanding global demand for thermal sensors, switches and flow meters in our core markets and in new applications and industries.  His high-energy and commitment are exactly what we need at this time.”

Schleyhahn will report to Randy Brown, who after 15-plus years as FCI’s Marketing Manager and Director of Corporate Marketing, steps into the position of Executive Director of Marketing and Industrial Sales & Service.  McQueen praised Brown for his accomplishments in bringing FCI’s latest generation of products to market and expanding FCI’s brand preference and loyalty.

Schleyhahn steps in to lead the FCI sales organization after the retirement of Glen Fishman, who completed a 38-year successful career at FCI as the leader of the sales team.  McQueen also congratulated Fishman on his contributions in forging many great relationships with FCI’s channel partners and the company’s collective customer base to fuel FCI’s exceptional growth.

Prior to joining FCI, Schleyhahn was a member of the corporate staff at Swagelok’s headquarters in Cleveland, Ohio.  He was previously the General Manager of Sales for San Diego Fluid Systems Technologies, representing Swagelok products.  Schleyhahn is a graduate of Pomona College and has an MBA from UCLA Anderson School of Management.

Brown said that Schleyhahn brings a wealth of industry experience and a process for leveraging application successes.   His primary responsibilities will be to work with channel partners to help respond to the growing demand for FCI’s flow and level instrumentation products from both new and existing customers worldwide.

Schleyhahn added that he is motivated by a desire to build high performing customer-focusedsales teams. He looks forward to expanding upon FCI’s unwavering commitment to supporting the company’s customers, sales representatives and distributors.
