Here We Grow Again - Mark Thomas Appointed as Air Spectrum Managing Director

Worcester based Air Spectrum Environmental Limited is delighted to announce that Mark Thomas will take the reins as Managing Director with immediate effect. Thomas has been General Manager since 2011 and was previously Northern Sales Manager.

After six years in the business Thomas says “ I am delighted to take over as Managing Director from our founder Steve Hunt, who will continue as Chief Executive of the Spectrum Group, and I look forward to driving the business, products and services into new and existing markets as our portfolio continues to grow.

We have made 3 other appointments with Pete Badham joining the board as and remaining as R&D Manager, Simon Snape comes on board as Business Development Manager of our newly launched consultancy business ‘Spectrum Environmental Support’ (SES) and Xavier Ainsworth takes over as Air Spectrum’s Northern Sales Manager.

Badham has been with the Air Spectrum business for over 18 years and has an enviable reputation in the emission control and research market. He has responsibility air emissions services across the company including, dispersion modeling, analysis, air quality modeling, R&D for air quality research and testing for the company’s odour laboratory, OdourLab. The laboratory specialise in odour analysis, offering a fast, efficient odour testing service to a range of companies across the UK, and has just been independently tested and scored top out of 40 participating laboratories around the world for repeatability and accuracy.

Badham said “My team at SES have years’ of experience in odour and dust consultancy services, and can assist in many related issues; we understand the importance of measuring, monitoring, controlling and limiting environmental problems that are linked to the uncontrolled release of pollutants to atmosphere, My appointment to the board and the recruitment of Simon Snape to the team sends a big message to the market that we are tightly focused on providing quality consultancy and testing services to a range of clients across many industries.“
