Air Monitoring
Supelco radiello™ Passive Air Sampling Devices for Ambient, Indoor and Personal Monitoring
Oct 10 2012
radiello is the ideal device for sampling low levels of Hydrogen Sulfide (H2S), aldehydes, BTEX/VOCs, SO2/NO2/HF, ammonia, and other compounds in many applications such as sampling in petrochemical environments, vapor intrusion, sick building/house and LEED.
Features and benefits of radiello samplers
- The radial design of radiello samplers offers high uptake rates resulting in faster sampling (over axial samplers)
- Greater adsorbent capacity offers minimal reverse diffusion and greater uptake rate consistency resulting in more reproducible results.
- All uptake rates are precisely measured (not calculated) resulting in more accurate measurements.
- The water repellent diffusive body makes radiello amenable for use in bad weather
- All cartridge adsorbents undergo a complex conditioning and QC procedure resulting in cartridge background levels three times lower than instrument noise.
- The combination of low detection limits, high uptake rates and high capacity allowing for sampling time ranges from 15 min to 30 days (1 ppb – 1000 ppm range).
- Other benefits include, but are not limited to:
- Predominately solvent/chemical desorption which does not require thermal desorption equipment
- Amenable to thermal desorption & GC/MS with low interferences resulting in precise and very sensitive measurements
- Touch and chemical inertness makes the sampler robust for use
- Reusable hardware for more economic sampling costs
radiello samplers are available for the following contaminants:
BTEX/VOC’s in Chemical and Thermal Desorption
Aldehydes
Ammonia (NH3)
HF, NO2, and SO2
Ozone (O3)
Anesthetic Gases and Vapors
Phenolic Compounds (Thermal Desorption)
HCl
1,3-Butadiene and Isoprene
