New Compact and Robust VOC Analyser

With more than 15 years of experience in the measurement of volatile organic compounds (VOC), Environnement SA (France) introduces the VOC72M, a new generation analyser for the measurement of VOC’s by gas chromatography with photo ionisation detector (PID). The VOC72M can sample up to 40 compounds, with 8 configurations for analysis. This compact and fully automated analyser with a wide voltage range (90-240V) provides equal performance to the laboratory chromatographs and is particularly well-suited for fixed or mobile ambient air quality monitoring laboratories.

Equipped with a large LCD screen and operational in less than 30 minutes, the VOC72M performs all the functions, such as: sampling, analysis and data management, in a simple and completely autonomous mode. The quick check of the chromatograms measured components is possible directly on-screen without the use of a computer. The memory effect (10 times lower than that required by the standard EN14662-3) allows the calibration of the analyser on a single cycle without an external PC. The column is equipped with an innovative liquid-cooler; retention times are stable even with a fluctuating temperature.

Additionally, remote diagnosis, made possible without opening the hood, the replacement of the trap in less than 2 minutes requiring no adjustment, the integrated flow control fittings, the use of only one gas (nitrogen) and 3 levels of in-built security ensure this robust and low maintenance instrument is ideal for air quality for monitoring networks.

The VOC72M complies with the European standard EN14662-3 for the measurement of benzene.
