New Portable TOC Analyser for Municipal Water Monitoring
Aug 03 2011
GE Analytical Instruments (USA) announces the new Sievers 5310 C Portable Total Organic Carbon (TOC) Analyser, designed specifically for municipal drinking water applications. This rounds out the 5310 C Series that already includes a laboratory and on-line model. All provide 12-month calibration stability, easy operation, comply with USEPA-approved methodology, and feature automated protocols such as TOC percent removal calculation. Typical applications include raw and finished drinking water monitoring for DBP compliance and optimisation of chemical addition.
GE also offers a new enhanced Inorganic Carbon Remover (ICR). Designed for longer consumable life and lower operating costs, it uses approximately 50% less acid than its predecessor. The ICR is available for all Sievers 5310 C and 900 Series TOC Analysers.
Together, the new Sievers 5310 C Portable and ICR offer a flexible solution for monitoring organics on-line, such as during a pilot project. Upon completion, they can easily be moved back to the laboratory.
