This year Pulsar Instruments (UK) celebrates 40 years in the noise instrumentation business and we continue to provide effective, common sense and easy to use solutions for Noise at Work applications.

At present, many companies are facing challenging times, however employers still have a responsibility to comply with the ‘Control of Noise at Work’ regulations. The ‘Assessor’ range of instruments are automatically configured to meet UK Health & Safety standards ensuring they are practical and easy to use. There are six available instruments within the range allowing you to invest in a sound level meter that will satisfy both your noise measurement requirements and budget.

Highlights of the range are the Class 2 instruments that allow you to select the most appropriate hearing protection for noisy areas. The Model 82CA offers cost effective prescription of PPE using the HML method whilst the Model 84 has 1:1 Octave Band Filters and ‘Analyser’ software as standard. Any of the instruments can be supplied as part of a complete noise measurement  kit containing all of the essential accessories for a compliant noise survey. The excellent ‘Analyser’ software is also available making the transition of measurement through to reporting an effortless task.
