 TSI Releases OmniWear Noise™ – Lightweight, Easy-to-Use Dosimeter

TSI Incorporated has launched the OmniWear Noise™ Dosimeter, a compact, 36g wearable device designed to simplify workplace noise monitoring. Despite its small size, it delivers accurate, real-time data across all workplace noise parameters, helping employers assess exposure risks effectively.

Occupational noise contributes to around 16% of hearing loss worldwide, according to the WHO. Wearable dosimeters like OmniWear Noise™ allow dynamic, shift-long monitoring to identify when and where exposure risks occur.

With one-button operation, rugged design and a 16-hour battery life, the dosimeter is built for easy deployment across various industries. Even first-time users can quickly gather and report data for compliance or task-specific assessments.

The companion app, available on Apple and Android, connects via Bluetooth to up to 20 dosimeters simultaneously. It provides real-time monitoring, exposure averages over an 8-hour shift, and post-run reporting - allowing employers to take timely action to reduce hearing risk.
