Cirrus Environmental (UK) has developed a NEW high quality Outdoor Noise Sensor. The Class 1 MK:427 Noise Sensor, with 4-20mA loop, can be quickly integrated to existing PLC data acquisition / control systems such as SCADA found at many larger industrial sites.

Mike Bullen, Commercial Manager for Cirrus Environmental explains:

“The MK:427 Noise Sensor has a continuous 4-20mA loop output that can be seamlessly integrated into existing infrastructure thus eliminating the need for third party software and complex installation and maintenance. The standard 30 – 100 dB(A) range is ideal for most sites but can also be adjusted for specific applications.”

He continued….

“The robust outdoor microphone assembly has proven reliability for long term permanent use in even the harshest of outdoor environments. Regular scheduling for remote calibration of the system is achieved with it’s built in auto-calibration system for compliance with international noise measurement standards. Installation is very straightforward as a standard mounting kit is supplied and Cirrus Environmental offers the option of a heavy duty wall-mounted kit. For indoor noise monitoring / control applications we can offer our innovative ZE:908 sensor systems”

Given the ever increasing need to accurately monitor and control the environmental impact of noise generated by industrial processes the MK:427 Outdoor Noise Sensor affords companies an effective means of managing noise levels.
