New Israeli Distributor Means Continued Growth for UK Instrument Manufacturer

As part of its strategic growth plan, Ion Science (UK), manufacturer of gas, leak and corrosion monitoring instrumentation, is delighted to announce the appointment of a new distributor in Israel.

Located a few miles east of Tel Aviv, Amos Gazit was established in 1958, employs more than 80 staff and has extensive experience of the country’s health & safety market.

Amos Gazit is set to help boost sales of Ion Science’s product portfolio within the Oil & Gas, Chemical, Petrochemical and Environmental sectors across Israel, including the Palestinian territories.

Gary Smith, Middle East Sales Manager at Ion Science comments: “Amos Gazit is a large, family owned business with an unrivalled reputation within Israel’s health & safety market. They have a team of highly knowledgeable sales and marketing professionals who we very much look forward to working with for years to come.

He continues: “Amos Gazit will be selling the complete Ion Science portfolio, including our well proven Tiger volatile organic compound (VOC) detector which will be popular with Israel’s burgeoning environmental industry.

“Our partnership with Amos Gazit is another significant step forward in the support of our mission to increase the availability of our instrumentation and the presence of the Ion Science brand in these growing markets. It is early days but Amos Gazit has already identified many sales opportunities for our products in Israel,” Gary concludes.

A spokesperson from Amos Gazit adds: “We have been instrumental in the instigation and development of health & safety products and solutions in the Middle East for many years. The appointment is testament to Amos Gazit’s solid skills and experience in the region and we are very eager to promote the full range of Ion Science products across our markets.”

Amos Gazit comprises three divisions – Safety, Medical and Technical Support. Plus the sales force is also supported by a service and maintenance team.
