Ion Science (UK), the gas detection manufacturers, have recently exhibited at the American Industrial Hygiene Conference, which was held at Minneapolis Convention Centre.
Within the industrial hygiene industry, the annual event is considered as a “must attend” for thousands of industrial hygiene and occupational and environmental health and safety professionals.
More than 300 exhibitors attended, what was considered to be the best show yet. Ion Science exhibited a range of products on their stand, which extended across the product portfolio.
Attendance at the exhibition booth was enhanced by a presentation on new developments in PID detection, given by Geoff Hewitt, President of
Ion Science America`s LLP. Geoff Hewitt commented “I was delighted to be able to offer visitors an insight into PID detection at this year’s show. It is essential for us to exhibit at the American Industrial
Hygiene Conference - and attendance forms a regular part of our annual programme.
It is extremely useful to have the opportunity to discuss with
others working within the industry what some of the key issues are – which can help us to understand even more about our customers needs in
this sector”.
Duncan Johns, Managing Director of Ion Science Head Office in the UK, also attended the show and comments “A great exhibition for us this year, with a record number of quality visitors which were not only
from the Americas but also all over the world. It appears our reputation for delivering quality gas sensing is expanding year
on year and the AIHce is an important vehicle for this continued message. Next year the show will be in Toronto.
We plan on attending with an even bigger presence than we had this year by showing yet further developments of our technologies.”
