An Important Acquisition for Gas Analysis Specialists

Having distributed Dynascan instruments since 2012, Cambridge Sensotec (UK) has finalised the acquisition of the local Cambridgeshire business this month. Founded in 2001 by a team of highly skilled specialists with over 30 years of experience, Dynascan are manufacturers of innovative leak detection systems and made to measure product quality solutions for the pharmaceutical, medical and food industries.

Cambridge Sensotec is an ISO 9001 accredited company who specialise in gas analysis and manufacture a range of portable and static gas analysers under the Rapidox brand. The analysers are designed for the likes of industrial processes, quality control applications and environmental monitoring, and are distributed globally through an international network of distributors.

The two companies have a strong history of collaboration in developing their product ranges and offerings. Cambridge Sensotec commissioned Dynascan to develop and build the Leakview in 2012, a product designed for the Modified Atmosphere Packaging (MAP) market. In addition Dynascan worked on the technical development of the Rapidox range of portable SF6 and multi gas analysers launched in 2013.

Cambridge Sensotec is committed to maintaining a strong track record of growth, and the acquisition of Dynascan will serve to strengthen the company’s presence in both new and existing markets. In return the strong foundations of the Dynascan business, and the additional resources and collaborative opportunities will aid in the company’s ability to drive future growth opportunities and success.

Joining the company will be Charles Barker in the role of Product Manager and John Evans in the role of Electrical Engineer. Future product developments from Dynascan includes cellophane packaging leak detection equipment and for Cambridge Sensotec, the Rapidox SF6 Pump Back gas analyser due for launch in autumn 2014.
