Critical Environment Technologies Canada Inc. (CETCI), is excited to announce the launch of their cGas Detector product line that offers greater flexibility with customised sensor combinations and specialised options.

Key features include: 2 internal gas channels, easy plug and play Smart Sensor replacement at end of life, (sensors arrive pre-calibrated), user selectable (in the field) BACnet® MS/TP or Modbus® RTU digital output and over 30 gas types to choose from.

Available now in CETCI’s standard black enclosure, these detectors are ideal for commercial and light industrial applications. Soon to be released is a new low profile, aesthetically pleasing enclosure for areas where less noticeability/blending in is preferred.

Common applications include: CO, NO2 and combustible gases in car parks, vehicle repair shops, bus barns and fire halls; O2 in hospitals; H2S in wastewater treatment plants; Cl2, O3 and NH3 in recreational facilities; refrigerants in chiller rooms or in hotel rooms with VRF/VRV systems; compressed CO2 in storage rooms or space CO2 in greenhouses or other occupied spaces such as schools and retirement homes where integrated demand controlled ventilation (DCV) is used for air quality and energy savings.
