New Oxygen Sensor, the O₂-A3, a True 3-year Life O₂ Sensor

Alphasense (UK), the Leading Independent Sensor Technology Company of Great Dunmow, UK, has announced an addition to the ASeries Oxygen Sensor that uniquely provides a full 3year warranty with a noleak guarantee. Designated the O2A3 and based on our existing O2 Series, it further enhances Alphasense’s line up of the highest quality Oxygen Sensors with industry leading reliability and performance. Pricing will be less than 25% more than the existing O2A2 (Alphasense’s 2year warranty sensor) but giving a minimum of 50% increase in expected life.

This new Sensor is the result of enhanced technological capabilities within Alphasense, allied to feedback from existing and potential users of Alphasense’s Oxygen Sensors, many of whom have performed their own exhaustive tests to confirm performance, reliability, life expectancy and acceptability of this new product. The success of Alphasense’s Oxygen and Toxic sensors is reflected in the increased volumes of sales where customers are demanding and being given the highest levels of reliability, support and ontime delivery from Alphasense.

As a result of consultation with users, Alphasense has already developed a new miniature series of Oxygen sensors to compliment its successful and unique DSeries of Toxic Sensors. To be designated the O2G1 and O2G2, these are respectively 12 and 24month warranted products, that are pin compatible with the O2 ASeries but of lower height and weight. Further developments of the Oxygen Sensors from Alphasense are in the pipeline and will be announced shortly.
