Dynasonics, a Badger Meter brand, distributed in the UK by Bell Flow Systems, offer a comprehensive range of simple-not contact the internal liquid, technology that has inherent advantages over alternate devices including: non-invasive installation, no pressure head loss, no moving parts to maintain or to-fit ultrasonic clamp-on flowmeters for clean and waste water measurement. The range includes portable and fixed models suitable for pipes from 13mm to 5000mm in diameter.

Dynasonics meters simply clamp on to the outside of pipes with ultrasonic transducers and do replace, no fluid compatibility issue and a bi-directional measuring range that ensures reliable readings even at very low and high flow rates.

Perhaps the most advanced model from Dynasonics is the DXN™. Incorporating innovative hybrid metering technology the DXN™ can automatically switch between transit time and Doppler modes as needed and can also be provided with a heat energy measurement feature. The DXN™ features the industry's only advanced colour touch-screen interface featuring job-specific controls, 1 GB internal data logging, USB connectivity and a superior measurement processing speed, taking over 50 flow readings per second.

The DFX™ is used Doppler mode to measure flows of dirty liquids containing suspended particles or aerated liquids that reflect an ultrasonic signal. Doppler flow meters can cope with a variety of what are considered ‘difficult’ flow measurement applications such as sewage, slurries and wastewater. The DFX™ is a compact model that can be installed and fully operational in minutes.

The TFX-500W™ is the economical model offered by Dynasonics that provides instant, accurate and repeatable bi-directional flow measurement readings of clean water using transit time technology. The TFX-5000™ features an easy-to-read digital display, 4-20mA analogue output, USB port, and is available as a compact model with novel integrated pipe mounting design for smaller pipes or with a selection of remote transducers for small, medium and large pipes. The free Windows-based software allows users to easily configure, calibrate and troubleshoot. The TFX-5000™ incorporates all the features of the TFX-500W™ but with additional features including, operation with many different liquids, Modbus or BACnet communication and optional heat energy measurement.
