The ETL One, from UniTec (Italy), is the new All-In-One air quality monitoring solution designed and manufactured by Unitec for indicative measurement (as defined by European Directive 2008/50/EC). The ETL One is a compact multiparametric station equipped with Unitec SENS-IT sensors for continuous gas monitoring and built-in light scattering module for dust monitoring with high precision and accuracy. The ETL One is featured by easy use and very low ownership costs, therefore is the perfect solution for urban areas, industrial and cement plants, landfills, roadworks and fenceline monitoring. Recently an ETL One unit has been installed in Formia (a city near Rome) as part of a smart city project for air quality, noise, weather conditions and traffic monitoring. The ETL One has been installed on a pole near the most congested street of the city, between the seaport and the City Hall. The unit measures continuously PM10, NO2, CO, C6H6, O3, temperature, relative humidity, noise and communicates all the data in real time through UMTS connection to a smart visualisation system (totem) installed in the City Hall. Maintenance impact is zero: the ETL One has an automatic autozero calibration system for light scattering based dust module and the gas sensors need just a calibration check once per year.
