Further underlining its commitment to the long term protection of employee health and the environment, Svantek UK Ltd has announced a major restructure to facilitate future growth and provide the platform for a series of exciting product launches in 2015, including Gilian personal air sampling pumps from US-based Sensidyne and Heat Shield Meter from Italian company, LSI Lastem.

The leading manufacturer of occupational health and environmental noise and vibration monitoring instrumentation has split the business into two divisions. Long term employee, Claire Fawlk, will be Sales Manager for instruments aimed at environmental monitoring and protection. Andy Carling joins the company as Sales Manager for Svantek’s Health & Safety products.

A fully qualified occupational hygienist and highly experienced sales professional, Andy was previously employed at Mapal Green Energy as UK Sales Manager. Earlier roles include Field Sales Engineer at Tempcon Instrumentation Ltd and Air Quality Product Manager at H20 Chemicals Ltd.

John Shelton, Managing Director at Svantek comments: “The Svantek restructure is a critical next step as we implement our refreshed strategy and reinvigorate our growth momentum. It will help sharpen our focus on distinct markets and enable us to deliver increased productivity and further improvements in the quality of service and products we offer our customers.

He continues: “Andy brings significant instrumentation and capital equipment sales experience which will prove invaluable for both existing products and the new ranges planned for 2015. We wish both him and Claire every success in their respective roles.”
