Safe Monitoring Group AB, a leading group of gas detector manufacturers, has officially completed the acquisition of Bieler+Lang GmbH. As a result of this merger, the two companies will continue their efforts to protect people, equipment, and the environment from dangerous gas leaks.

Founded in 1967, Bieler+Lang has a long-standing reputation for providing timely and reliable warnings of gas accidents and explosions. Their gas detection and warning systems are specially designed to protect people, the environment, technical equipment, and property from damage.

As part of Safe Monitoring Group, Bieler+Lang will work alongside other companies in the group to collaborate on research and development, marketing, procurement, sales, and service. This will provide customers with a more comprehensive and local service offering, with companies such as SAMON and InduPro being more present in the German and Nordic regions respectively.

"I am thrilled to be a part of Safe Monitoring Group and look forward to the expansion of both Bieler+Lang and the group with other companies joining forces with us," says Susanne Dussa, Managing Director of Bieler+Lang. Alexander Larsson, CEO of Safe Monitoring Group, adds, "I have had the opportunity to get to know Bieler+Lang over the past year and I am really impressed with their reliable product and strong service offering in Germany. I am looking forward to expanding the business together with the management of Bieler+Lang."

Safe Monitoring Group has acquired 100% of the shares in Bieler+Lang and the process was completed on January 18, 2023. The sellers of Bieler+Lang have reinvested and are now shareholders in the Safe Monitoring Group and will continue working within the group.
