Rotronic (Switzerland) is introducing inexpensive, high-precision and stable measurement transmitters for recording air velocity onto the market in the form of the new AF1 series. With the flow parameter, Rotronic AG is adding another measurement parameter to its product portfolio; true to the motto of offering customers an ever-increasing range of technologically outstanding measurement solutions.

The AF1 is primarily designed for heating, ventilation and air conditioning equipment, but is also used in many other applications. In the HVAC area, the AF1 can monitor and evaluate the functionality of ventilation and air conditioning systems in an extremely effective and efficient way. This is an important task, since the air quality in rooms is highly important for the well-being and ultimately the performance capability of the people in the room. To ensure that quality, ventilation and air conditioning systems must operate without problems and, among other things, be set to the correct values.

The measurement transmitter are available as a wall-mounted housing with separate sensor or as a ducted version, and can be installed easily and cost-effectively. They have a calorimetric sensor and outstanding long-term stability. The measuring range and the output signal can be adjusted easily and without additional software using a DIP switch.

Features at a glance: High degree of stability and repeatability, Compact design, The outputs and measuring ranges can be configured using DIP switches, Simple mechanical installation, Outstanding price/-performance ratio, and Ideal for HVAC applications.
