New portable industrial emissions analyser
Sep 18 2018
The EPT 900, from ETG, is an industrial emissions and combustion analyser, mainly used for industrial burners, cogeneration groups, gas turbines, industrial ovens and processes, laboratories and generally everywhere the need is to measure and register for long periods the gas emissions in compliance with existing regulations .
The new EPT 900 uses the primary components of ETG’s portable MCA 100 product line for biogas and syngas analysis and further extends the successful line of their highly successful range of portable gas analysers. Operators can measure simultaneously up to 12 different gases, with up to 9 single gas measuring sensors and one infrared bench (NDIR) for CO/CO2/CH4.This analyser measures O2, CO, CO2, CxHy, NO, NO2, SO2,
H2S with different ranges and accuracies and includes methane. LPG, propane,
butane, light oil, heavy oil, biogas, wood, pellets, coal are all stored within its standard memory, whilst allowing a further 16 user defined fuels to be added by the user.
The EN 50379-1 and EN 50379-2 compliant EPT 900 performs the measurement of flue gas temperature, of combustion and outdoor air as well as positive, negative and differential pressure. This analyser features a sucking pump for gas sample as well as a 2nd dilution pump for CO cell protection. There are gas sampling probes of different types and lengths / heated to suit the variety of applications performed by the analyser.
A double dust filter, standard expansion water trap or Peltier quick cooler, automatic condensate drainage with peristaltic pump and memory up to 16.000 complete analysis further enhance the reliability and versatility of the EPT 900. This unit also includes a USB output for PC connection and Bluetooth® Class 1 connectivity with power supply provided from lithium ions battery or mains 90…260 Vac.
