Timberline Instrument’s (USA) TL-2800 Analyser provides a rapid, low maintenance method to measure ammonia and nitrate in water and wastewater samples. Recently recommended for wastewater determination by the USEPA (ATP Case # N08-0004), the TL-2800 uses a continuous flow gas diffusion and conductivity detector to measure ammonia in aqueous solutions. Common applications include surface water, watershed, chloraminated drinking water, and wastewater influent and effluent. Results are unaffected by turbidity, colour, or particulate matter. Ultra-sensitive detection down to the ppb level is easily achieved. The robust system introduces sample via peristaltic pump, which reduces the need for filtration and prevents costly repairs and maintenance issues associated with sample injection valves.

The integrated data acquisition hardware runs with Microsoft Windows 7 operating system for easy connection to networks, printers, or external USB drives. The intuitive software provides compete automation of the instrument and sampling system with a graphical user interface that is easy to learn and implement.
