The Tintometer Group of Companies (UK), the global manufacturer and distributor of the Lovibond brand, today announces the launch of the new Lovibond range of individually designed and customised Water Test Kits for Industrial Water Treatment. This new product range further demonstrates the Group’s commitment to the expansion of its core business sector, Water Analysis.

Cay-Peter Voss, Chairman of the Group explains “The Company is now considered to be the preferred supplier, attaining the status of one-stop-shop, for most companies involved in the water analysis industry. Current applications include Marine, Microbiological, Industrial Water, Legionella, Food and Beverage, Boiler and Cooler water systems, the Hygiene sector, Hydroponics, Swimming Pools, Potable Water and Waste Water. The Group’s acquired knowledge of the microbiological and electrochemical sectors will also serve to help expand into new applications with innovative products and chemical reagents.”

All products are available stand-alone or as an integrated set, housed in one of the comprehensive Lovibond engineering kits. The Lovibond range presents an accurate and flexible approach to routine water analysis that is simple to use, yet gives reliable, repeatable results in factories, laboratories and in the field. With test parameters ranging from Acidity to Zinc; pH; Temperature; BOD; COD; Turbidity; Biocides; TVC and Coliform/E. coli; every application is now catered for.

Tests use either Lovibond tablet reagents, with a guaranteed shelf life up to 10 years, VARIO powder reagents or liquid reagents, manufactured to rigorous standards in the Lovibond factories. As the only reagent producer in the world to offer a complete range of reagent forms, the company is unbiased in its advice of which reagent type best suits the need of the application.

Commitment to quality is fundamental to the company’s philosophy. All Lovibond products are manufactured according to the company’s DIN ISO 9001:2008 certification and comply with international standards such as ISO 7393/2 and ISO 15705:2002. All the instruments and chemicals conform to the relevant international safety regulations and EC directives.
