PerkinElmer’s Spotlight 400 FT-IR Imaging System was designed and created to provide intelligent automation and state-of-the-art analytical capabilities, making it a powerful tool for a wide range of applications, from environmental analysis to biomedical research.

The Spotlight 400 FT-IR Imaging System incorporates cutting-edge technology, including an ATR imaging system that allows for the collection of high-resolution infrared images of extremely small samples to visualize the composition of materials based on FT-IR spectral data. Other unique features of the system include high-quality spectral production and images from sample areas, yielding pixel resolutions of 6.25, 25, or 50 microns, and the ability to find the region of interest (ROI) to allow for ease of analysis of multiple particles and layers all at once.

The Spotlight 400 FT-IR Imaging System is configurable to be used with mid-IR, near-IR, or dual range FT-IR with the Spectrum 3™ systems to give maximum information from samples in the shortest possible time. The system also comes with a variety of optional accessories and consumables for ease of sample handling and preparation.

In addition, the Spotlight 400 FT-IR Imaging System is easy to use, yet exceptionally powerful and versatile, making it a perfect addition to any lab setting, in any discipline. The system is backed by powerful software that provides full control over the microscope, including the ability to focus on the sample, manipulate spectra, and view sample images in real time.
