To cater for numerous enquiries from their customers, Ashtead Technology recently introduced the combined TSI DustTrak and SoundPro, this offers reliable and accurate continuous monitoring of noise and dust.
The DustTrak operates in accordance to MCERTS’ standards for measuring PM2.5, PM10 and total PM across a wide range of 0 - 150mg/m3. TSI’s Quest SoundPro performs class/type 2 noise monitoring with 1/3 Octave band analysis. This instrument can be powered via the mains, solar panels or battery, so it is ideal for indoor as well as outdoor monitoring operations.
“It made sense to develop a single system that could accurately monitor both parameters simultaneously and deliver continuous data remotely. Our solution combines the key advantages of two separate TSI technologies, and is now available for rental or purchase.”, said Ashtead’s Senior Sales Manager, Josh Thomas.
Monitoring dust and noise is a necessity at locations where these pollutants are a hazard to workers at the site and the public nearby. As a result, these instruments will be used for health and safety applications, in environmental investigations and to comply with planning criteria.
