Air Monitoring
Versatility of FTIR Explained
Jan 19 2013
Reflecting the new theme of AQE 2013, the Quantitech (UK) stand (40 & 41) will feature the latest instrumentation for both ambient and stack emissions monitoring.
The company’s monitoring experts will use this event to explain the versatility and flexibility of FTIR multi-gas analysis by outlining some of the many applications in which this technology has been successfully employed. Visitors are invited to attend a free presentation entitled: ‘FTIR analysis for complex gas mixtures – real world examples of trace gas analysis in ambient air and stack emissions’ which will take place from 12.00 to 12.30 on Wednesday 13th March in Workshop Room 1.
A further presentation entitled ‘Methods for sampling emissions of Dioxins, Mercury and Heavy metals’ will take place from 11.00 to 11.30 on Thursday 14th March, also in Workshop Room 1.
FTIR analysis is able to measure almost any gas, so Dominic Duggan says “Visitors to the Quantitech stand will be able to access advice on even the most difficult monitoring applications.”
