Air Monitoring
European cities have good air quality, report shows
Apr 11 2011
Data from AirNow, CITEAIR and the American Embassy in Beijing for Wednesday (April 6th 2011) and Thursday (April 7th) last week show that some metropolises in Europe have low levels of pollution.
The daily findings revealed that Paris, Brussels, Prague and Zurich had 'good' air monitoring results for both of the dates.
Berlin was also found to have 'good' air quality for April 6th, while data revealed that Madrid had 'moderate' marks on the same day.
The findings for London showed that the city had 'good' air quality for both of the days.
This comes after the government announced it will invest £46 million into putting 542 green buses on the country's roads in an attempt to improve air monitoring results and lower carbon emissions.
