On the 25th and 26th February the car park at Bretby Conference Centre near Burton–on-Trent was packed to overflowing with the cars of delegates lining up to receive the latest guidance on how air pollution regulations will affect their companies.
The event, organised by Environmental Technology (Publications), the Source Testing Association, and the Environment Agency, was designed to provide industry with help and guidance on how to manage the impacts of regulatory and standardisation activities that have resulted from a range of EU Directives. Organiser Marcus Pattison expressed his delight with the success of this year’s event, commenting "there seems to be a high level of interest in air pollution, and in monitoring in particular, and as a result delegate numbers were up by over 50%, and almost all exhibitors have re-applied for em-CERTS 2005"
